The device offers a completely new measurement procedure for the camshaft, it has a combination of optical and tactile sensor, which allows measurement in 3D and thus complete testing of the workpiece in one clamping.
The matrix camera measures optically and within a few seconds measures the required features such as: radius, diameter, length, deviations in the shape and position of the bearings, angle or stroke of the cam. The 2D touch sensor measures features that are not optically detectable, such as: concave cam shape, front throw, reference elements, and axial direction or axial holes.
